Requiescat in pace, Maxi

Today, on 24th of June in the year 2014, Maxi, our family's cat, died in the great age of 19 years, which makes him a Methusela among cats.
He was dearly beloved among the members of our family, there was not one who didn't love him. It is a very sad day for me. But noone is as sad about the death of our cat as my brother is. Maxi was his best friend, and we all, including himself, say so without shame. For him it will be the hardest.
I'll always remember Maxi as one of those animals that I really had a personal bond with, and I asure you, that are only a few.

Dear Maxi, in all my spirituality I can't believe that you, or any other animal, be thy now beloved or not, didn't have a soul. I pray for you, and I hope your soul will find peace, so that your body can rest in peace.

Requiem aeternam dona ei, domine.
Et lux perpetua luceat ei.
Requiescat in pace.
